Choosing her size for a birthday or another occasion? Start with her age on the day, then check the measurements. Our chart covers 0–3 months to 5–6 years. You’ll find the available sizes on each dress page.
Our dress size chart
This chart shows the measurements of the finished dress. Compare them with a dress that fits her comfortably. Sizes can differ between brands, even with the same age on the label. The “Below knee” and “Full length” columns show two different dress lengths, so check which length your chosen dress has.

How to choose her size
- Start with how old she’ll be when she wears the dress.
- Compare the chest and waist in the chart with a dress that fits her well. Look for a fit that lets her sit and move easily.
- Check the shoulder-to-waist measurement and the length. A below-knee dress will sit differently from a full-length gown.
- If you’re unsure which size to choose, select “Custom size” on the dress page or ask our team for help.
For her first birthday: 9–12 or 12–18 months?
Turning one doesn’t automatically mean she needs 12–18 months. In our chart, the dress chest measures 22.5 inches for 9–12 months and 23.5 inches for 12–18 months. Check the waist and length too. If one size works for her chest but another works for her waist or length, you can choose custom sizing.

How free custom sizing works
Choose “Custom size” on the dress page and follow the instructions for measuring her body. You can enter inches or centimetres. Custom sizing is free; the dress is priced at the closest size in our chart. We confirm the custom measurements before we cut her dress.
There’s a 2-inch growth margin inside our made-to-order dresses: extra fabric for later size adjustments. Enter her body measurements as they are, without adding extra room. One free size alteration is included if you ask within 3 days of delivery. Read the alteration and return terms.
